Maria Papamichail/Photographer

Maria was born in Athens/Greece in 1983 and studied Interior Design, Photography and Audiovisual Arts, in the Technical University of Athens.

After graduation, she also studied Documentary Photography and Video Arts at the Moholy-Nagy University Of Art and Design (Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem - MOME) in Budapest, for a year. She returned to Athens and worked in Apeiron Photos, an international photo agency. Besides that, she associated with the gallery Athens House Of Photography for several years, as the General Manager and curator of exhibitions and photographic workshops.

She has worked as a freelance photo editor of Kathimerines Ekdoseis for the Quality Awards 2016 of "Gastronomos" magazine

Today, she works as store manager and photo editor at Stergiakis Photo Shop and also as a freelancer photographer
